I think the effect of rough teeths after eating greens is a chemical
reaction with your saliva -
I mean the opposite reaction of acid, but don't know the word in english
(couldn't find eather).
I'm sure Axel knows this .
love

Maybe we all "feel" food differently. I had a girlfriend who wouldn't eat
mushrooms because of their texture. She said that sliding them across her teeth
made her shudder like scraping nails on a blackboard. Knew another friend
who wouldn't eat the peeling of an apple for the same reason. He used to bite
into an apple and spit the skin out. Or maybe I just have weird friends.

Linda,
Yes, I've also experienced the "thick" feeling on the surface of my teeth
although I find raw spinach to be the worst culprit.
Enjoy your greens anyway,
Dianne in L.A.
