I had a girlfriend who wouldn't eat mushrooms because of their texture. She said that sliding them across her teeth made her shudder like scraping nails on a blackboard. Knew another friend who wouldn't eat the peeling of an apple for the same reason. He used to bite into an apple and spit the skin out. Or maybe I just have weird friends.
