		<description>Hello Libby,
 I am very new also to BTD, blood type diet. Welcome.
 "Brain thing" is where I was having more trouble accessing
 particular vocabulary in my mind- I think it is clearing up.
 Probably detox from starchy carbs.
 "Placebo effect" is a researcher's term for people feeling better no
 matter what diet change they make or take (in the case of
 medication). Placebo often refers to a sugar pill given to control
 groups during research. Placebo usually hits about 30% of folks in a
 double blind study.
 I used that term because I am feeling sooooo good and sooo much
 energy that I was unsure if it was a head trip, placebo-effect,
 because of so many tangible changes I've made. I said it less than
 seriously because it was mostly a passing thought, but those
 thoughts often need addressing "Taking all thoughts captive..." so
 &lt;!--more--&gt;
 the false thoughts do not gain power.
 Again welcome. Love to hear more about you and yours.
