raw garlic & coffee, candida

Linda D ~ coffee is an avoid for all type O so I wouldn’t recommend that one
for counteracting the odor of raw garlic :-) I have been struggling with chronic vaginal yeast infections so I believe our
situations have some things in common. D’Adamo’s Encyclopedia does have
information regarding systemic candida and I would recommend at least getting
it out of the library. Heidi has written quite a bit in her On The Diet column
at www.dadamo.com which I would recommend as well. I am focusing on: high
compliance with the diet, with special focus on organic, grass-fed meats, plus
dark leafy greens, plus other highly beneficial foods. If you don’t know your
secretor status yet, I’d recommend getting tested for that (saliva test
available in the store at www.dadamo.com). Live Right 4 Your Type has really
helpful information about how often to eat various food groups and I eat almost
no grain and beans in compliance with that (I’m a non-secretor, but even
secretors are recommended to eat very little of these two groups). Also, I take
PolyFlora O probiotic (I believe it’s available at Thomas’s

www.foodforyourblood.com and at www.dadamo.com) to support my system in
shifting to a healthy bacterial balance, with ARA6 Plus which feeds the healthy
bateria. I took Heallix for several months (available at www.heallix.com) but
it’s expensive, and my new clinician (chiropractic physician) suggested I try
progresterone cream to even out my hormone balance, so I’m getting ready to
start that instead. Also, I focus on getting 1/2 oz of water per pound of body
weight each day, with a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of sea salt in each quart.
This plus vigorous exercise (with sweat!) seems to really support my body in
eliminating toxins and moving towards balance. I did do the anti-fungal
protocol from the Encyclopedia and did find it helpful. I wasn’t able to take
the bladderwrack as I experienced a pretty severe detox reaction. One thing
I’ve heard about, is that candida overgrowth can be a way the body protects
against the toxicity of metal amalgam dental fillings.
Tell us more when you have a chance ~ and keep us posted!
Best wishes,
Paulita
