Digest Number 1741

Don, thanks for the tip on the sweet potato flour and trying a local ethnic
grocery. Don’t know how I was searching before having so much trouble!
Jane, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in how restaurant staff respond to my
requests for veggies instead of the potato, etc, since Atkins got so much in
the news. I love it.
Linda, I sure notice that after I indulge my cravings, they are WORSE. But they
get better the longer I go without, especially if I’m not around too much of
them. I had a hard time during the Christmas holidays at the office. So much
sugary junk food.
Susan, thanks for the ideas of what you like to eat. I’m always on the look-out
for fresh approaches.
Marjorie, I would highly recommend finding out your secretor status (available
as a spit test at www.dadamo.com) and getting your hands on the book Live Right
4 Your Type. It has portion frequencies by secretor status, and some food
values change depending on secretor status. Glad you found us!

Thomas, where do you find out these things like fava beans are still super bene
for O nonnies who are fighting cancer??

I thought everyone might want to know Dr. D’Adamo sent his first E-News
    e-mail today (Vol. 1 No. 1). I don’t know if I can paste it here, but I
thought you might want to know. He said he expects to send a new issue
    every two or three weeks.

    Hi, Tom!
Thanks for the heads-up on Dr. D’s E-Newsletter. I just went to his site
and admired the new layout and signed up for the newsletter. It’s been a
while since I’ve been there. I just downloaded over 100 posts from only
today. :-(( Something’s gotta give. I just don’t have time to do the
Internet stuff I want to do, but I sure don’t want to leave this
group. You guys share too much great info.
BTW, if you sent us a copy of the NL, it apparently didn’t come through.

Above the newsletter he sent me he explained that he was combining 2 lists
and some people might get two copies. I guess some people got none instead.
