Etc…Attn: Thomas
**Is your sister an O as well?
Has her life been stressful?
Love Thomas**
My sister is also and O. She is 48. Both of my parents are O’s…Mom is O- and
Dad is O+. She is O+ also. My bf is O- and my ex and I are O+ so I will assume
that my son is also O+. Makes cooking easy!! My sister’s life has been a
nightmare. Drugs and pregnancy at an early age. Bad choices all of her life.
Then in April she was in a horrid car accident (not her fault) and my family
found out that she had been abusing prescription drugs. I knew and I had been
trying to tell them for over a year that there was a problem but no one would
listen to me. She had them snowed BAD. “But the doctor is giving her this pain
medication for her Fibro, Coryn” my family would say to me. I gave up after a
while. She had more than one doctor. I feel that a lot of her ailments are all
in her head (and from what she eats) and she used them to get the pills. Drug
abusing people are sad…they will look you square in the eye and LIE to you as
she did over and over. Since the accident though we have gotten her into
treatment and she is doing better. She was on Methadone, Oxycontin, Vicodin and
Lord knows that else. Then after the accident, the doctors told us that she was
on enough pain medication for a 6′4” 250 pound man!!! They added Morphine to
her list while in the hospital recovering from her accident (she was there for a
month). Her withdrawls have been brutal but she is doing it. Now I want her to
eat better. One thing I learned is that 80% of people who have fibromayalsia of
ANY blood type are non-secretors! So I an going to put her on that schedule.
**At 140 lbs you do have the need for a minimum amount of
calories to maintain. A wild guess would be 1200 to 1400 calories daily.**
It seems to me, that if I eat my 2 pieces of bread (or a cup of brown rice) a
day, and 3-5 fruits…be it juice or a piece of fruit, and 15 oz of protein, and
an egg, and some olive oil, and a boat load of veggies, that I would be getting
plenty of calories. That is a lot of food!! And on page 153 of Live Right,
fruits are great for weight loss and for proper water balance. I’m going to try
it his way by his guidelines for a while and see what happens.
Thanks Thomas. I hear what you are saying but I need to follow Peter’s plan for
a while. I hope you don’t unsubscribe. You ROCK!!!
