For Axel and Thomas from Snip

Hi Axel and Thomas,
I am not a group member that people embrace. Hell, I barely get my posts replied
to. Talk about insulting! I have been a member a long time….despite the fact
that most people ignore me.
AXEL, I think you are awesome. I have saved every single one of your posts. (The
Axel Files) You are very smart and very funny and REAL! I am all for venting,
and free speech and I agree that he is unfairly judging you. Thomas insulted
you. Period. And you insulted him. Period. Duh! People can go on insulting
people forever and it rarely does any good. You and Thomas have some things in
common…passion about things is one of them. You two just happen to be
passionate about different things. That is what I find FABULOUS about
people…their differences. How boring life would be for me (and everyone) if
everyone AGREED with me (or each other)!! **SNORE**
THOMAS, you are really acting like a judge almighty. I am certainly not trying
to insult you…you are awesome in your own ways. But I feel you are unfairly

judging this man. I have always thought very highly of you but you are acting
unbalanced. I would like to know what made you peg Axel as a pothead? He said in
his earlier posts that he wasn’t a regular user…and even if he is…who are
you to judge him? Can’t you appreciate his honesty and the information that he
has to offer? You are taking one thing that you find offensive (or 2 or 3) and
ignoring the wealth of information….ignoring the GOOD. You are acting as if he
is not worthy or something. Thomas, YOU offer a wealth of information also. I
might not agree with some of the things that you say but I really appreciate you
saying them.
You both remind me of two boys on each side of the street throwing rocks at each
other. Geeze guys, STOP IT! It doesn’t matter who threw the first rock. Two
wrongs don’t make a right. Go back to your neutral corners and stop talking to
each other for a while…or forever if that is what you want. I personally don’t
want Axel booted. He finds some really good information that I don’t have the
time to find myself.
Thomas, some of the information you have given me has been great. I am so
thankful that there are people like you out there who can help me along my BTD
journey. Thanks for that.
Axel, your last post was fabulous. If he blocks you and I never hear from you
again, please don’t ever lose that passion that you have. You could work on
constructive criticism a wee bit (smile) but that fervor is awesome.
I need you both. Gawd, this fight is depressing…
I am sitting here typing this laughing to myself because it may get posted, but
no one will read it! I’m the ignored one! That’s ok though. I said my peace. And
now to blast it off into nothingness and see where it lands…

One Response to “For Axel and Thomas from Snip”

  1. Norman Kaufman Says:

“I do wish you would embrace the art of conciseness. I suspect few
have the inclination to sift through paragraph after paragraph of
bloated, run-on sentences to glean from your posts their intended
    meaning. ”
People seem to have an impossible time when I am abrupt, so from experience some
elaboration seems needed. It is in response to people, on the drug issue.
“A valid statement will hold up to the scrutiny of succinct
    communication. ”
Unfortunately, people who wish to ignore the real world will never acknowledge
anything that doesn’t fit within the convenience of their programmed little
    world, concise or bloated.
“We, all of us, even those that don’t meet your criteria
for “intelligent”, form our own picture of reality through our
perceptions. Someone who says, “I tell it like it is.” is someone
who is telling it as THEY see it. Not even remotely the same thing.

My handle is “Thruthseeker” not “Please tell me what you think I
    should know, Axel”. ;)”
And then sometimes people who tell it like it is actually tell it like it is.
Playing subjectivity ad infinitum is just another game.
“Drugs are the single lamest tool in one’s search for enlightenment,
dude. Doing drugs to reveal spiritual truth is comparable to
lighting a sparkler to see a meteor shower. Beyond pale.
    Eva”
Really? And of all the books published in the 20th century alone? Or the
entirety of human history? “Doing drugs to reveal spiritual truth is comparable
    to
lighting a sparkler to see a meteor shower.” That’s… “interesting”. Then
there’s the entirety of human history. I’ve noticed something about the people
I’ve met in the world… there are the religious, those few who follow harder
“religions” or “spiritual” disciplines who are aware of energy, mind, and are
perceptive. Then there are the “naturals”, those who have developed along more
complete lines of human development. There are also the drug user or those who
have experienced drugs. Last summer I was at a public concert in my downtown
area, Ziggy Marley was performing. There were a lot of pork pushing vendors,
beer, etc. I nudged my way through the crowd and smelled plenty of varieties of
ganja. I was actually sober, and did not partake (which those of you who have
written my works from ‘01 onwards may be surprised to hear). I was in public, a
crowded audience and did not partake. I listened and enjoyed the vibe, a vibe I
that doesn’t seem to be generated by a non-drug using crowd of regular
Americans. I then went off to a little park area in front of a building,
eventually finding my way to the back where I could have a few swigs of my new
bottle of brandy (I almost always have a backpack). I saw some dudes hanging out
together. I met them and they had some of my brandy, they were smoking a joint,
pretty good stuff. I didn’t have any of that, either. I didn’t care for it,
then. Even though I’ve smoked plenty of marijuana, I simply declined several
times that day. Why? I just didn’t feel like it. I was going to go through it
without cannabis. I did get a nice buzz from the avoid free brandy, however. So
I wasn’t a stickler for sobriety. While talking to these young men I realized
that they were not ignorant, I could literally sense them, sense their minds
touching me. We got to discussing drugs, altered states of mind, etc. and I
learned these men had taken harder psychedelic drugs. In fact, while they were
pulling me and asking questions I became less than forthcoming, they then
proceeded to prove to me what I had initially sensed about them, as they began
to pull information about my person, my past, my life, even little facts about
me. They were getting accurate impressions from me, just talking to me and
looking at me, sensing me. You know those psychics on television who ask
questions about the audience members and get big looks of surprise and
amazement? These lowly, lame, pathetic drug abusers, these scumbag, wasted,
filthy drug takers were doing the exact same thing. Something I RARELY ever see
developed in most people. This is but one example of the people I’ve met in
life, but it is indicative of others I’ve met. Most of the mundane mothers of
several children I’ve met rarely feel like they did, to me. Chalk that up to the
    damaged people of America’s wasteland.
You can say all those books written in the 20th century are a waste of time,
that those authors are irresponsible about the risks that controlled substances
have been well known for (”let the morons play with drugs and see what happens”
is my argument). But then those are some… interesting and world-reknowned
authors. You can also completely forget THE ENTIRETY OF HUMAN HISTORY, which is
easy if you are a simplistic weakling. I must inform you that when you are
discussing something such as “spirituality” or “mysticism” or whatever you want
to call it, if you are going to disparage drugs on that issue, given the people
I’ve met and the books I’ve read and the experiences that I myself have had,
then you will be making a laughable argument. You belong with Thomas.
“p.s. My fiancĂ© squats more than you :P”
Really? Is he under 150, extra skinny biker/jogger type and two years recovered
from muscle loss of vegetarianism? Are you talking one rep max (1RM) or what?
“p.s.s. Strictly out of curiosity, are you a Boomer, Xer or Y?”
No. Simplistic labels for weak-minded drug avoiders. Stop. Your mind killing is
not appreciated. Go don’t do drugs with the other drug-abstainers.
“p.s.s.s. as an “honorary Jew” I find it irkesome that you insist on
perpetuating the sterotype of the “pompous (aka. elitist), socially
awkwark, sexually frustrated, jew) How Woody Allen ;)”
    I learned that it isn’t p.s.s., but p.p.s. Stands for post-script.
Unfortunately, the reality does not allow for an elite-free world, America has
many power levels, and different kinds of elite exist. I don’t find myself being
as socially awkwark, but rather, when I dissaprove or when someone says
something so stupid or offensive as to offend me, they can’t help but feel my
disapproval, then, because most people who do that are weak-minded cattle, they
can’t help but return that emotional energy. They don’t like it. I’ve been
thinking about shoving the “eye of Sauron” bit on people, since the movies came
out. Then they can think about that, instead of losing control of their weak
minds and fuming, privately or not. But then, many people are so fucked up (us
BTDers can understand something of why, elite dieters that we are) anyway it is
just a negativity waiting for a reason to manifest.
So, for those in this group who simply cannot tackle the complex issue of
concsiousness nor human history or Reality itself, just forget about it, you’re
probably already accomplished at denial, anyway. Shield your eyes from an
inconvenient Reality. That’s how easy it is. But first, would anyone care to
inquire as to why drugs, consciousness, altered consciousness would apply in a
    topic-oriented group such as this?
