“Axel,
Is all of you a Libra or just parts of you?
Coryn”
My sun sign. Not that it really makes that much of a difference.
There are scientifically measurable differences in people born at
different times of the year, granted. But I’m sure that much of the
astrology shows its effects as a belief system (mind constructs)
effects on a populace. There is the observer effect, the observer
expectancy effect, conscious/subsconscious influence, etc. etc. That
is part of the reason why religions that attempt to maintain purity,
especially those that deal with more of the nitty gritty reality
stuff, don’t want their followers screwing around with other systems,
it not only muddies the adherents psychology, but actually intrudes
into their life and obfuscates them from perceiving the world through
the lens of their original belief system, or if it is a quality path

I dunno about the pics/moving

Coryn has set the bar pretty high. She could be the poster child for Dr. D!
Happy Thanksgiving! Well, I suppose outside the US, the day is irrelevant.
I do send my best wishes to all on this list, and just want to let you know
I’ll be out of touch for a few weeks. I am moving tomorrow (the 28th), and it
will take me a while to unpack and set up.
Thanks to all who have posted compliant holiday recipes.

Does anyone

have a good recipe for pumpkin bread that uses spelt? I tried
adapting a recipe that used regular flour and twice it’s blown up
in the oven. Needless to say I’m not going to try that one
again.

Do you think the O’s that don’t seem to have intolerances/health issues and
eat the “standard” american diet… have a more accepting chemistry… OR
do you think that if they followed the btd they’d have the same reaction to
avoids that us followers have? The always questioning,, Leslie !

“bisquick”

Sunday, April 29th, 2007

“Do you use whole grain or white spelt in your “bisquick” recipe?
I’ve been craving biscuits lately, and so I’ll try your bisquick recipe. ”
Connie, I have been craving biscuits too, but hadn’t made the connection.
Duh! I used white spelt this time. Maybe a mixture of half whole grain and
half white would be good. Let me know if you experiment first. I will be gone
until Monday, but will certainly will try some biscuits after that.

AxelJekyll and AxelHyde -STOOL TALK ALERT!

“I, for one, love reading his posts and seeing him figure it all out…and he
throws it out there for all of us to see! I have got to admire a person like
that. And Axel, what do you think?”
Your appreciation has reminded me of what happened when I started making an
effort to increase my caloric intake, cheaply, with pre-soaked adzuki beans and
white basmatic Indian rice. Even a purely bean-based dish is a high-carb meal,
though in vegetarian dietary terms it’s “packed with much needed protein!” I
find the protein in our scarce HB beans are enough to keep me going until the
next REAL type O meal. So I was eating more bean ‘n rice, staple of the poor. I
would usually make a prepared adzuki bean portion, from a cup dried, to one
quarter cup of dried white basmati rice. So 4:1 of beans to rice. Not more than
that, folks. I know, rice is cheaper and easier to make but… that’s how close

hasn’t insulted me…yet!”
You wanna know why your address names is “SnipSnip”? Because people want to
snip snip you out of the discussion.
“He just may do that but until then, he serves as another source of
information for me. I find his posts interesting. Brash….but interesting
nonetheless.”
You should read my posts between 9/01 and 2/02. I’m awesome!

O-friendly pecan pie?

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

I’m supposed to make a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I know
how to make an O-friendly pumpkin pie, but does anyone have ideas for how to
make an O-friendly pecan pie? I’ll use a spelt crust, but is there any
substitution for the corn syrup?

<<I have done 3 liver flushes over the past 6 weeks and am still getting stones
out each time.
Don,
What exact recipe have you been using for your flushes? How functional were you
the next day?
I’ve been wanting to do it for months, but I’m concerned that I’ll be totally
out of commission the next day and I just don’t have any totally free days.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated,
Dianne in L.A.
