New member story

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

Hi All,
I am relatively new to the group, and this is my 1st post. I
learned about ER4YT-O through the Rosacean Diet group. I have bought
the ER4YT Encyclopedia and have tried to follow the diet in most
cases. I totally cut out dairy products for a short while, but
recently started eating whole milk yogurt to gain some of the
benefits from the Probiotics that I understand are supposed to help
with various gastrointestinal conditions. I have been dealing with
IBD for some time. Since I have been on a high protein low carb
diet, I have lost 12 lbs (that I didn’t need to lose down
to 160 from 172 @ 6′0″ height), and now tend to be too regular with
bowel movements. If possible, I would like to bring my weight close
to my previous norm, and not have to deal with consistent
irregularity. I do exercise on a regular basis (surf 3 - 4 days a
week for 1 - 2 hours), and also seem to have a high metabolic rate.

Has anyone done the kidney and liver Cleansing and

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

have you had any good luck with it or has anyone had any bad luck
and is there any side effects or whatever should I know or beaware
of. Also, has anyone bought the Common Sense Health and Healing book
by Richard Schulze. Have you found it helpful and if so, in what
ways if you don’t mind sharing your personal experiences. I am
thinking of it. I suffer from lots of pain and I also suffer from
anxiety and DR’s say that is where most of it is coming from my pain
the anxiety. Well, I want to do something about it.
Thanks all and look forward to as much advice and suggestions as
possible.

Atkins Correction was “All swirled up, need encouragement”

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007

Hi Thomas,
I now have proof that you’re human after all (smile)! Dr. Atkins died from
a head injury sustained when he slipped on an icy sidewalk and hit his head.
He did have a heart incident several months before his death, which at first
was jumped on by the high carb press. They dropped it when it was revealed
that this episode was not caused by clogged arteries etc, but (like many
“heart attacks”) by a infection of the heart.
I will never eat any other way but BTD, however, when it comes to diseases
we have to admit that there are causes that lie outside of diet, such as
parasitic infections, some genetics, etc. He might have picked up a
parasitic “infection” from too much pork. (smile). On a serious level, my
Mom at 71 (blood-type B) is in good health and about 90% BTD compliant. In
August 2002 she picked up a parasitic infection while on vacation in the
Caribbean. The docs couldn’t figure out the cause of her illness for 5
months and pumped her full of prescriptions to no avail. We eventually

All swirled up, need encouragement

Monday, March 5th, 2007

Hi. I’ve been trying to lose weight doing the Atkins program, but so
many of the things that he allows conflicts with what a Type O should
have. For awhile, I tried to do Atkins, “A la D’adamo,” but I felt
like I was eating the same thing all the time. People said I’d drive
myself nuts, and I have.
I want to lose weight, and I’ve always enjoyed good health. I still
feel well, but I have developed these odd reddish ovals on my tongue,
right in the middle. I researched that online, like the Asian method
of reading the tongue in relation to your organs, etc. That area of
the tongue is called the “Middle Burner.” It seems to be indicating
organs like the stomach, spleen, and liver, I think. (It was a while
ago that I did the research.) However, I haven’t been able to go any
further with it, and it came on after I started all this dieting with
the Atkins Program. But I feel that I have become imbalanced due to
switching my foods around to try to lose weight.
