Alcohol
Or rather cooking with alcohol. Is it still an avoid since it
burns off? I have all these recipes that ask for a cup of wine,
or beer (brauts - and yes, they are chicken or turkey), or even
tequila (tequila lime chicken anyone?)

Some alcohols are allowed (red wine etc) and I believe that tequila is
neutral since it doesn’t affect me nearly as badly as other hard liquors.

hard liquors.
I know we can drink red wine, but I’m talking about cooking with
them. And hard liquors are an avoid.

The old rule of thumb is that if it hasn’t been tested, treat it as neutral
and try it. I had no “avoid” reactions.

Max and Don,
Thank you for the correction. I was just in a hurry and could only remember the
fact that it isn’t really a cactus and Heidi somehow didn’t think it would end
up as a neutral.

But wasn’t that it wouldn’t be a neutral for O nons?

Heidi’s article mentioned that she didn’t see agave becoming a
neutral for O nons. Since she was specific, I figure that she
sees it (since it hasn’t been tested) as a neutral for O
secretors.
