another nocturnal O

Diane:
I have always been somewhat nocturnal.
And continue to be.
I am simply more awake in the evening.
I only get 6 or so hours of sleep a night and rarely get to sleep before
midnight.
I am not sleepy during the day or low energy either.
This system works for me.

enjoy my night walks in my garden around 2 a.m. when I deliver
the work schedules to the office in back; the other humans are
sleeping and its just me and the spider webs I keep crashing
through. A little late for protein so I keep my mouth shut.
Not really enough protein to worry about . . . I love late
nights. So quiet and peaceful. And if there’s a full moon . . .
    LOL

I would be a nocturnal O but it doesn’t fit into my job schedule. I
teach so I should be in bed by 9:30 and get up at 5. Hmmm almost 10 and
I am reading email. Summers and weekends i stay up late and sleep in in
    the morning.

all…someone has to keep the Red Cross well supplied. Hold that
    thought….
Ain’t giving up my blood to no one! It’s hard earned!
I have thin veins that collapse when they use the thicker needles
they need for donations, so no donating for me.

Me too, and add to that the fact that I am not healthy and do sleep most of the
day but it does not affect my night sleep, if I need it, I can sleep all day and
go to bed at 10-11pm and sleep all night too. Then there are the “up all
niters” which I am having tonight. Not sure why but insomnia comes occasionally
even though I take 2 mg Klonopin earlier in the evening, I am just more alert in
the evening, which is not saying much as my Late Stage Chronic Lyme messes me up
as I go into and out of Herxes. I have been pretty much following the type O
diet, am now starting on the type O supplements, and am trying harder to stick
to type O highly beneficial food only. Also fighting with osteoporosis and
arthritis and had a cortisone shot in my right knee this morning ( I am thankful
I injured it, don;t know how, but is preferable to advancing arthritis in that
knee). Wonder what that will do to all my latent herpes viruses in my system.
Oh, well, trying to help my immune system real fast before the cortisone hits
    the rest of my body.
    Hugs, Michele

You might want to try melatonin (1 or 2 mg). It’s a hormone and not a drug.
Makes you drowsy with No side effects.

Juice 6 carrots, handful of parsley and 2 apples together everyday. It
increases your T-cells. Just don’t tell Thomas. Have a friend with hepatitus C
who does this and it helps. I know food combining says no but the carrot juice
is a little too gritty for me and makes me cough so I throw in the apples.
You can add a lemon/lime or maybe some grapes if the apples bother you. In
addition, I juice spinach, kale and other green veggies in with it.

Not me. I’ve always been a morning person. My type O daughter and I get up
at 5:30 am, walk before going to work, and I’m falling asleep shortly after
    9:00 pm.
