Cleanse
I have started drinking a bottle of Mineral Water on a daily basis and had a
few questions (I drink either Gerolsteiners or San Pellegrinos):
1. I’ve started to notice some mineral waters that are not sparkling (aka
no bubbles). Is there any reason to favor one over the other? I sort of
enjoy the bubbles since I drink no soft drinks.
2. Some mineral waters mention “High Mineral content” or “Low Mineral
content” or in the case of San Pellegrinos it mentions “Total Dissolved
Solids 952 mg” How significant is this in making one brand different from
another? Most seem to have Calcium at about an 18% RDA rate per 25 oz, but
few list significant amounts of Magnesium. What’s the useful scoop on all
these slight variations from a health standpoint.
3. Is there any harm in drinking too much mineral water. The most I’ve
ever had is about 75 oz in one day, spread over the day. My typical intake
is 25 - 50 oz a day.
