high blood sugar and fats

I wanted to raise this issue and hear how you all approach this.
Here are my assumptions:
1. Simplistically Omega 6 fats are bad and Omega 3 fats are good
2. There are two kinds of beef, Grass-feed and Grain-fed
3. Grain-fed has a ratio much higher in Omega 6 than Omega 3
4. Grass fed has a ratio higher in Omega 3 than Omega 6
5. Dr. D’Adamo recommends Grass-fed beef
How many of you actually eat Grass-fed beef and how many feel forced to buy
grain-fed beef?
I tend to think most people still eat Grain-fed beef without realizing the
negatives. I think throughout history beef has always been grass-fed
because it only made sense. When men discovered that cattle can be fattened
quickly for market by being fed grain I guess the ability to make money took
over to the point that unless you can afford it, you have to buy grain-fed
beef.

I’m fortunate to live in Texas and 6 grocery stores within 5 miles of me
sell What is called Springerhill Longhorn Beef. It’s 98% fat-free (because
its longhorn) and is 100% grass-fed and it’s $4.89/lb and sometimes $3.99
(once even $2.99) on sale.

I haven’t been able to find grass fed beef here in Portland, OR. I haven’t
looked too hard though, but now that you have brought up these points, I may.

    Don,
Thanks for the tips re: breakfast! I had come to a place where I didn’t know
what to fix for my partner who has to be at work by 6am. This will work fine
and can be heated in the microwave at work. I know that’s not the best idea,
but it’s all that is available.
