Allergy testing

Does anyone recall what Dr. D’Adamo has said on allergy testing…
that is, aside from dietary elimination, what are some reliable ways
(hopefully inexpensive) to verify whether you’re allergic to a
certain food or not?
Does blood agglutinate whenever in presence of an allergen, vs. just
when in presence of a lectin?
Years ago I’d had a ‘cytotoxic allergy test’ that tests the blood
against a variety of foods and reports back in the manner of +1, +3,
etc., as to which foods you’re supposedly allergic to. This test is
panned in the mainstream and beyond that noted as having quite a few
false positives.
What was interesting to me was that it pegged some things very
well… corn and wheat allergies (and I’m an O), as well as
aspergillus (I get the creeps around molds and fungi anyway), and
surprisingly, beef. (Milk tested as not really, really allergenic to

me, but somewhat, which would jive with D’Adamo’s philosophy.)
Later, I experienced an unusual allergic reaction (very bona fide,
thanks) to a medical material that used bovine collagen, though I’d
never noticed any problem from eating beef.
So I’m curious about who else has had an experience with the
cytotoxic allergy tests, and what you think of them… in addition to
my initial question. Thanks.
