how to pick the right ER list

I realize the conversation here must be confusing to new members, who are
getting competing information about which list to join. It may be that the
only fair suggestion to make is to that you join a couple of lists for
awhile, and after a few weeks, you will have a good idea of which groups are
supportive and informative, and if there are some groups with their own
agenda of marketing and personal promotion. I can only tell you I have been
on this list for several years, lost 25 pounds and conquered many physical
and mental health issues, and I could not have done it without this group.
It is not necessary for me or other members to discredit anyone else who runs
a list. If it’s the people we think they are, they’ll do that themselves!
