thanks for the suggestions
Nancy, I’ll pick up some Gerosteiner on payday. We’ve got a bottle of black
cherry juice concentrate in the fridge that we use for flavoring sauces and so
on, that should taste pretty good as a base for a sugar-free, aspartame-free
spritzer. Dianne, thanks for reminding me of herbal tea. Republic of Tea makes
a good one called Ginger Peach. I think it’s fully compliant, I’ll check the
label. If you haven’t tried it, check it out sometime. It’s delicious iced, I’d
forgotten that *chuckle*
Kathy, I’ll try magnesium. Right now I’m taking the cal-mag tabs again, and
they’re helping quite a bit with leg cramps and pain in my neck and shoulders.
For some reason they aren’t making me as tired as before, though I still take
them before I go to bed because I get a bit drowsy about an hour after taking
one.
Btw, I had taco salad for breakfast this morning–Black Angus hamburger cooked
up with onions, garlic, cumin and chili powder and served over plenty of fresh
romaine and julienned carrots. Wow! It tasted better than any pancake ever did.
I could get used to this
Banana/mango smoothies are good too. I make them in
place of the big carb breakfasts I used to give myself on Sunday mornings.
So what does everyone else eat for breakfast, if I may ask? Just curious–Robin

Robin,
Your breakfast sounds great! Wish I had some ground meat right now. <g
usually fix smoothies for breakfast using banana, frozen blueberries, pineapple,
mango, etc., and add an egg for the protein.
It is 7 am here and now I am getting hungry! hehe..

This morning I had leftover chicken and broccoli with an egg scrambled over it.
Trying to go low carb. It was good, but I miss my slice of ezekial toast.LOL

I just heard about blending eggs and broccoli together and then scrambling.
Served with meat of some sort would be a great meal.
