Eat Right 4 Your Type is not a diet. So you can eat all you want. It is a
meal plan and a healthy living plan. If you are Type O you can eat a lot of
animial protein (meat and eggs) and vegetables. If you want to lose weight,
just cut out carbohydrates, or cut them way back. For instance, make
hamburgers for lunch. You may have two or even three hamburger patties and a
big salad. Trust me, you won’t be hungry. Your teenager may have a big
hamburger or two small ones, and whatever else you are serving (salad,
chips, milk, whatever). The two little ones would each have a small burger
and some milk or juice.
This is not too hard to do with a family. Just make all the food they want
or need, and be sure each meal includes animal protein. Then you can have
extra of the protein, and delete the carbohydrates. On a traditional “diet”
you are depriving yourself, and trying to live on some crazy, reduced-calorie
starvation routine. This is about being healthy, and eating when you are

hungry. If you eat the right things, you will be healthy, and that includes
proper body weight. As a diebetic, you probably are supposed to limit your
intake of carbohydrates anyway, so I think you will like this way of eating
and living.
Good luck and stay in touch with this group. There are a lot of people here
who have been doing this a long time, and are very knowledgable about diet
and exercise. Also, some people on this list do combine their way of eating
into a larger family unit, of varying tastes and needs (like different blood
types in the same household). So we are here to support and help each other.
