Is there a cure for arthritis?
Hi guys,
Is there a cure for arthritis?
I have been following the specific carbohydrate diet (no complex
carbohydrates) for more than two years now because I have the crohns
disease. The crohns is ok but last year (also in march) I got arthritis. it
started only in my feet joints. I followed the advise I got on this list of
eliminating the diary and after a while the arthritis was reduced (not sure
whether it was the diet or just by chance)
Two weeks ago, my knee joint got inflamed and some kind of a liquid is
accumulating there. The doctor has taken this fluid out of the knee but new
fluid keeps coming back (even after one local injection of cortisone). The
doctor is not sure whether it is arthritis but I have the feeling that it
is. I would like to ask whether there are other people who have developed
the same condition and whether there are any treatments for this condition.
Thank you and kind regards,
Mo

Mo where do you live? Have you had any other symptoms? I have Lyme disease and
it causes arthritic pain that roves from joint to joint. Hope that’s not what
it is but just wanted to put that in your list of maybes. I wouldn’t let them
inject cortisone. It does make the pain better for awhile but it does other
damage to your body which you don’t need. Have you been on cortisone for the
Chron’s.

My daughter has had severe tendonitis and I explained the diet to her (and
bought her the beverage, supplement list) last week when I saw her. She called
me last night and said the pain is gone.
