Portland, OR
I think someone on this list is from here. I am as well and just wondered where
you do your food shopping mostly. I have been using Whole Foods for most of
mine and find that they have a great selection.

Hi Nancy, nice to meet you.
I like Trader Joe’s, Nature’s for HFS sources.
But we also shop the usual Safeway, Fred Meyer’s, Albertson’s,
WinCo for the rest of family who do the bargain buying.
We are also members of Costco.
Never been to Whole Foods.
Didn’t think much QFC.
What part of Portland do you live?
I’m in NorthEast, minutes away from the airport.

Hi MC,
Whole Foods is on SW Burnside and 13th. There is a parking lot behind between
Couch and Davis. I havce found lots of good stuff there.

Nancy, I live NE, near Fremont on 143rd Avenue.
Hope we get to meet sometime.
I’ve been on ER4YT since April, 1999.
Susan, 2-1/2 yrs. will probably be best.
Realtor friend tells me it’s a “seller’s market”, now.
Well at least in Vancouver (Clark County area)….
How’s the healing going? Getting rest off those pretty footies.
Love, Gaye

Gaye,
We are thinking of moving to Vancouver in a few months, but will continue to
shop in OR (no tax!). Whole Foods has a great fish market and meat market along
with many non-wheat products. Their bulk foods are less expensive than
Freddy’s.
Maybe we could make an excursion someday over there.

MC,
Probably off of 14 somewhere close to the border. My partner works at Boeing so
don’t want to be too far from there. We are going to buy a manufactured home
and put it on a lot over there.

Glad you liked it. They do not have any GMOs or partially hydrogenated fats in
any of their products. My daughter works in their production bakery.
