eating out/ baking

Well I have been on the BTD for 3 days and I feel great. I ate rice-
a-roni last night and felt horrible afterwards. So from now on I am
sticking to just rice.
I had a couple questions for you. What do you order when you eat
out. I will be going out of town in a couple of weeks and not sure
what is okay when eating out since you don’t know what they cook
with. I was thinking about salads. But what kind of dressing do you
eat when eating out?
Also I went to the grocery store today and ours is both grocery
(normal foods) and health food store. They had tubinado sugar and
carob chips and spelt. Is is reasonable make cookings with these
ingredients? Is tubinado better than regular white sugar(since it is
a neutral). I know that carob is HB but are carob chips as well?
thanks
diana

When i go out to eat, I eat salad with no cheeses and just regular dressing
on the side. The low fat dressings have more chemicals in them.

What is the story with that stuff? I got sicker than a dog after eating it.
I didn’t realize that it was the rice-a-roni until the second time I fixed it
and got the same effect. Is it full of toxic waste or what? A lttle bit of
avoids usually doesn’t affect me but Rice-a-Roni took me out.

Sarah-It’s just me, my husband and son traveling. I think I will
pack some of my stuff to take. Where do you get spelt sticks, or do
you make them? Do you live in Oklahoma? that is where I live :o)

    Hi fellow okie. :o)
I agree that simple is best. Avoid sauces & dressings
THat is going to be hard. I am/was one of those people that like a
    little salad with my dressing.
