newbie/just starting question.

Hi,
My name is diana and I am starting this new “Lifestyle” eating plan
starting on Jan 1. I have the book on order so the only info I have
so far is from the internet and this group. I printed off a list of
beneficial/avoid foods. But I was wondering how much of these foods
can you have? How did you guys start? Cold turkey or gradual? What
do you suggest?
THanks so much for any info you can give me until my book arrives.

p.s. How does soy milk taste? I am so used to 2%

    I started cold turkey. It was easy for me. Most of the foods I enjoy are on
    the diet. In 30 days I was hooked for life.

    I went cold turkey - wheat and corn were my biggest culprits. I
    notice if I have even a little now. I was vegan prior to converting
    so wheat and corn were a major portion of my diet. I now eat all the
    good foods with reckless abandon!
    I really do not care for soy milk and find almond milk more to my
    liking.
