Skins or the Filler?
Regardless of the category(B/N/Avoid) a food falls under, I’m more
likely to savor the outside skin:
i.e. nectarine skin/potato skin/zucchini skin/carrot skins/the
sugary “husk” of a dried fig….
Unless I’m starving, I really just want the skin. What does this say
about me?

It has the most nutrition.

That’s where most of the vitamins and minerals are.

Of course, you didn’t mean banana skins right?–LOL.

LBananas to me are a bit too sugary. I typically onlyeat it now when
i’m on my weekly “off day.” Good with dessert….hmmm HOW ABOUT
SAUTEED BANANA SKINS IN HOT MOLASSES & BUTTER. I bet my turbocooker
could do a job on those hard skins. They already bust through any
squash skin that’s for sure.
(Longwinded tale)…in elementary school, we watched some video/film
about an immigrant polish family comin to america off ellis
island.etc.and in the film i’ll always remember the schoolground
kids’ joke of offering a banana to the uninitiated Pole….and he
bites into the skin..he heaves…the kids laugh and he proceeds to
pummel them like any good “O” would do if you ask me. He heee.
