I am new & Spelt

Yes, they do make Spelt Tortillas; however, I believe they’re made with
the flour rather than the sprouted grains. See website
www.food-for-life.com for their products.
I order my Ezekiel bread and buns direct from Food4Life. You do have to
buy by the case of six.

Skins or the Filler?

Regardless of the category(B/N/Avoid) a food falls under, I’m more
likely to savor the outside skin:
i.e. nectarine skin/potato skin/zucchini skin/carrot skins/the
sugary “husk” of a dried fig….
Unless I’m starving, I really just want the skin. What does this say
about me?

Hello everyone.
This’ll be a bit long-winded, I apologize in advance. I just started
the ER4YT diet a couple of weeks ago- I’m an O, obviously, since I’m
here; I don’t know my secretor status, but I’ll try to see what my Lewis
status tests out to one of these days. For the moment, I’m assuming
secretor, since that is more statistically likely. I’ve tried to dump
most of the avoids fairly quickly, offloading all my nice vegetarian
pantry items at my A boyfriend’s place. I am really going to miss some
of that stuff. This is pretty amusing, since he is more fond of meat
than I am…
I had a feeling meat was going to turn up in my eating plan after I
noticed how much more alert and energetic I was on the Atkins diet a
couple of years ago. I didn’t like the near-absence of veggies; I used
to be vegetarian, and I also felt this could not be good as a sustained
way of eating. I went off Atkins, the weight came back, and I forgot

Wraps (spelt, lettuce)

If you can get Nori sheets, they make good wraps also. Though they are thin you
don’t have to worry about grains. Meat or tuna would be good there instead of a
wrap.

I can’t really say i had a hard time getiing into the O BTdiet
INITIALLY since i had already been 8 months on Dr. Paul St. armand’s
HYPOGLYCEMIA DIET. (that diet did allow me to enjoy peanut butter,
soy bread, vinegar, worcestire sauce, high protein bars(with the
evil “whey”)) etc etc. long before i “discovered” lectins. They
didn’t teach aobut lectins in toxicology class.
BUT……i do remember giving up my potato chips & pasta as the
beginnings of a 5 day panic / nervous tension attack. And with your
love of donuts & dr. pepper…..wow, I dunno.
A good thing is that once your “there,” you’ll find that even when
you fall off the wagon, you’ll only want a “bite or two” instead of
the whole darn donut.

The first time i ever took DADAMO’s calcium capsules…….for weeks
i recall hiccuping powder through….MY NOSE!!!!
dID this happen to anybody else? I’ll be back on them capsules this
week.
The scent of the powder reminded me of something i breathe in at
dance clubs or haunted houses!!!

Boy, after reading LR4YT & then one fo the japanes pop culture books
on it…….
I’ve been secretly guessing people’s blood types.
And the A - O marriage/relationship combo has been a real good
indication of good relationships.
Tis weird.
The AB is an interesting one to locate.
The B ….i’ve gotten so labelicious !!! I’ve noticed B types to get
by with SO LITTLE SLEEP!!!!
It’s almost sick how accurate i’ve been….it just seems so easy(80%)
to me (without ocnsidering body shapes) just to look at people and
type htem as As(wimpy granola /types/ hippies/yoga addicts/quiet
artistes) & “O”s(always disagreeing with
me/yelling/tough/interrupting)
Damn me for doing this, but i can’t lie. anyone else guilty of this

flushed in water anybody?

So, how have you guys been doing with the water aspect of the
diet….”2 hours after or 30 minutes before eating”.??
My GOAL IS 1 GALLON A DAY…..thus i have a quart before
breakfast….by that time it’s 10pm before i can consider eating my
FOURTH MEAL!!!!
Before i read this book, the only time i would’ve had a drink of
water was after eating something sugary, rich food, or just when i
was dehydrated.
It’s funny cause i’m always on the timer.

There are so many people with SPECTACULAR health turn-arounds on this
list. They are excellent sources of motivation for sure.
That aside….to all you NEW O DIETERS…..i am not going to threaten
you with reasons why you SHOULD do this diet. Nor will i provide
BENEFITS(maybe malefits though) & ALL that other salesmanship society
uses to “bring you to our side.” I believe that you should never do
ANYTHING that requires external/artificial MOTIVATION.
You do it cause you WANT to do it. nuf said. Hell, don’t go 100%
like me & other members….pick & choose what you want to do. It’s
your body. I will only provide suggestions that work for me.
And I’m speaking as an enviromental toxicologist……the O diet is
just a scientific theory….someday it will be supplanted with an
even different scientific method. Who knows? The best thing to do
is ask yourself if you feel okay after eating x,y OR z.

Let the detox begin

OMG! I forgot what detox was like. Okay, I never want to do this
again. All of the sudden, I am eating prunes and figs and carrots
and broccoli and hot tea. Yes, there are side effects! Two to be
exact! And they are not nice side effects. (begging) Yes, I will be
compliant! I don’t like detox. Please make it stop!
I also have decided I need to remodel my bathroom. It is too boring.
