Raja’s Cup (was: What To Do)
<<Sounds interesting. Is this a tea, coffee, or what?
Max - Raja’s Cup is it’s own animal and hard to describe. It’s not tea and
it’s not coffee and you either love it or you hate it. Personally I’m quite
fond of it (particularly on a cold evening) and besides, it’s very high in
antioxidants. If you’ve given up coffee the day before you drink it you may
not think it tastes exactly like coffee, but if it’s been awhile, you’ll be
pretty impressed with the similarity.
Here’s a description:
The power of antioxidants, the taste of coffee! The kings — ‘rajas’ — of
ancient India drank a nourishing ayurvedic beverage for strength and overall
well-being. Now you too can enjoy the health benefits and rich-roasted
flavor of Raja’s CupT. A precise blend of four potent herbs — Clearing Nut,
Kasmard, Licorice and Winter Cherry — this time-tested beverage helps
promote well-being and vitality. Published research shows that Raja’s CupT
has hundreds of times the antioxidant power of Vitamin C or Vitamin E. And
it tastes delicious too! In a blind taste test, coffee drinkers thought that
Raja’s CupT was actually coffee. Caffeine-free, with no grains, Raja’s CupT
can be enjoyed any time of day — after meals, at breakfast or before bed.

Almost every health food store sells it. I’ve also seen it at Trader Joe’s,
but they tend to only have the tea bags and I don’t think those are nearly
as good as the kind you brew up like coffee.

No, but I haven’t looked. Not being a coffee fan (ducking tossed
cyber cups), I’ve never looked into subs. I’ll try to remember to
look next time I’m at Sun Harvest (weekly event). They have TONS of
teas, which I do look at. I have found some great China Green Tea at
the Flea Market in the old Furrows on S. Congress (formerly known as
the 290 Flea Market).

And for those who can’t find it locally, it is widely available on the
internet.
Just enter “Raja’s Cup” in any search engine and you’ll find it.

If it is near the tea fine. Please don’t feel like you have to make a
special effort just ot look for it. I just wondered if you had noticed it
since I know you shop there. To me it just has a wonderful taste, not hardly
anything like coffee.
