		<description>Italian is MUCH tougher. Stick to osso buco and other meaty dishes.
 Substitute veggies for pasta. Risotto is a great rice dish that we can
 generally have, but you won't find it at the Olive Garden (their food is
 all processed anyway)only at good local places (where we should be
 going anyway!). Salad is always a "good thing." Fish dishes can be
 awesome, shrimp and scallops are good too, stay away from octopus and
 calamari. Generally, I avoid Italian food (admittedly because good
 invariably means expensive and pasta is ubiquitousTry traveling in
 Italy for a month while avoiding wheat &#38; potatoI dare you!), but in a
 crunch, these are some good tips. At the Macaroni Grill, for example,
 you can order salmon or tenderloin with extra vegetables instead of
 pasta/potato. Combine that with a salad (no croutons, no cheese), and
 you're home free.
