Secretor/ non Secretor

I am new to this diet and to the group. How important is it to find out
if you are a secretor or not? I the book it doesn’t seem important, yet
I have noticed it mentioned within this goup.

    As of today, I think I have all of them( I went a little crazy on used
    books at Amazon!). I was referring to the original book. Dr D’Adamo
    devotes only a page to secretor/nonsecretor- and suggests to assume you
    are a secretor until you are tested. He also says there will be a list
    at the back of the book which doesn’t seem to be there.

    it yet.
