Delete Those Digests / Re: [ER4YT-O] Digest Number 1234

Dude, you have a high probability for insanity, this impression just from
checking out your site. Not saying that’s bad or anything. I remember your
(1st?) post, and mentioning me, I checked out your link and your photos of
toys ‘n all that. Sorry if I didn’t write to you then, I was not involved
on-line during that period, it was about 10 days after you posted that I
even read your post in this group.
I like it. You seem like a colorful guy. That’s awesome, stalking game show
contestants. I admire that, I do.
When you die (and I can almost guarantee that you will) and you transcend
your body and become a non-localized discarnate entity, I want you to find
me, float down into my brain/mind and deposit the enormous wealth of
information and wisdom you have accumulated over the years. I don’t need the
physical possesions, so don’t write me into your will, please. All I really
want is your knowledge, your experiental memories. Thanks.

Axel, I think you are sharing my wish that some here could learn the
simple process of cutting out everything in their reply- except what they
are replying to.
*Yes. For instance, instead of replying to you with your entire post I have
cut and pasted the relevant quote and replied directly beneath it.*
I am a digest subscriber and while not an avid poster (yet) I have never
copied back a whole digest. It’s so easy to highlight and delete. I’m
pretty sure we’re not going to change anyone’s habits. This usually
generates “who are you to tell me?” type controversy. But just in case…
*Yes. It is very easy to cut and paste. On my Windows 98 OS I have memorized
that ctrl-c is copy, ctrl-v is paste, and ctrl-x is cut. It’s so easy after
a short while, cutting, pasting, copying. It is also very easy to snip and
cut the other person’s post to make your posted reply much easier to follow,
and the clarity really adds to everyone’s enjoyment and facilitates
understanding. A little mousework and some control + letter pushing is all
it takes.*
We can lead a horse to etiquette, but can we make him polite???
*Some people are so indecent. They gibber on and on about the latest
grain-flour recipies, don’t read any of the books and expect us to answer
all their simple questions, why, it is obvious that many people don’t even
check out Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s own site, where a wealth of information exists
ON-LINE! It’s sickening, really. Must be all of those lectin residues
circulating about in their brains. That’s why this list is the highest
quality, personality-wise, of all the internet communities I’ve ever been
involved in.*

Man, I am hoping that I was not the trigger for these two posts, but
thinking that I was, I profusely apologize! I have been on digest on most
of my lists since I returned to work 1 1/2 years ago, and KNOW how to select
and cut to streamline my responses. I must have gotten totally caught up in
the “Wow, a group who can relate to everything I’m trying to do and what
I’ve gone through to get here!” thrill, clicking “send” without even
thinking about those nasty trailers. I think you’re right, those lectins
    are to blame!
    Cathy
(hoping for absolution in blaming the lectins)
and see? no trailers!… I CAN do it.
