ED,
2. Dried fruits that are HB. I love prunes and figs.
All that takes is a pan with a
Heather
Snacks:
1. Nuts (can’t get any easier!) such as walnuts and pumpkin seeds.
You can get pumpkin seeds with red chile here in New Mexico … ohhh
the goodness.
3. Fresh fruits that are HB or neutral.
4. Veggies like those baby carrots in a sack. Or, choose HB/N veggies
that you like and cut them yourself (if that isn’t too labor
intensive)
Meals:
Depending on your levels of compliance….
1. Can you fry an egg in butter? That’s easy. Do that with a rice
cake for breakfast.
2. If you have a blender (and putting things into a blender isn’t
strictly cooking), make a smoothie. I like banana, blueberries, and
soymilk mixed with nutritional yeast. It’s a great breakfast.
3. Sometimes you can get nice organic canned soups made with HB
veggies.
4. If you can make a hamburger patty and fry it in a pan, you can eat
a patty with a huge green salad for dinner. This is also a good way
to fry other things, like fish filets or chicken breasts. Note:
chicken breasts take a really long time to fry this way. Cut in half
first.
5. They make a form of ramen noodles out of rice noodles. These are
tasty, and you could have them with your burger too.
I hope this helps….
I use a lot of neutrals in my diet because if I go too hardcore HB, I
loose so much weight that I start looking anorexic.
Oh, and learn how to cook rice.
lid, rice, water, and some sort of time-keeping device.
Good luck.
