.Raw Meat/Eggs
Hi there, My daughter is home from Europe for a visit and is asking me about
raw meat…carpaccio (sp?) - Italian, she thinks and Kipinayeh (sp?) beef? -
Lebanese?
Her partner (unknown blood type for the moment) feels really good on uncooked
meats and he craves meat but does not feel good on cooked meat. We are wondering
what the difference is? I will be very curious to know his blood type.
Also is it safe to be eating these uncooked meats in restaurants. Anyone know
the answers to any of this? Also the correct spellings?
While I am at it?….what are the dangers in eating raw egg? I regularly put 2
free range eggs in my homemade “shake”…haven’t had any problems yet.

Hi there,
I ate a quarter pound of raw beefalo with tomato sauce, and 4 eggs
fried in coconut oil for breakfast this morning. First time in my life
I’ve eaten raw bovine. It was really good. It’s a LOT easier to
digest, and more nutritious. The raw anaiml fats are great. Almost
anything raw is superior to anything cooked I think, but I wouldn’t
eat poultry or fish raw unless it had been marinated or dried first.

I’ve eaten raw salmon before - got the recipe out of Nourishing
Traditions. It’s called pickled salmon - it was really good - pretty
salty though. It pickled in sea salt, lemon juice, mustard seeds,
water, chopped raw onions, pepper, etc., for 24 hours at room temp.
They say that meats are OK as long as they’ve been frozen for at least
2 weeks. I think it helps to get organic/grass fed if possible too.
Most eggs are OK too I think - raw. May be a good idea to wash the
shell before opening them in case there may be germs on the outside of
the shell.
