pH Question - Moderation will help

Hi Ann,
LB used to test my blood 4 times a year and looked at things like
sodium, portassium, chloride, ionized calcium, etc.
My anion/cation ratio was 19 when I started in 4/94. They reduced it
to normal in 30 days using milk with electrolyte liquids, diet,
ammonium chloride, etc.
Anabolic imbalance [alkaline] is not unusual, but it may be less
prevalent that catabolic imbalances.
I’m doing pretty well on my own up in this small town rural area in
NH. I was on the ER4YT for 6 months from 1/02 to 7/02, then did the
SCDiet [very similar to the O diet], and now I think I’m going to do
ER / caveman diet, or very close to Paleo / ER4YT.
It’s probably not a big deal. I guess I kind of freak out when I run
into a road obstacle and have to make another diet decision. I surf
the web a lot and get a lot on my mind sometimes. Most of the time the

answer is plain to see but my anxiety can make it difficult.
All I need to do now is probably just go easy on the high alkaline
foods like carrot, celery, greens [which are very alkaline], and
certain very alkaline fruit, and eat more animal proteins, nuts, etc.
I’m not very hip on seeing NDs, MDs, etc. I use bio oxidative
therapies, ER4YT, coconut oil, etc. These are great therapies that
help me. If I went to an ND, there’d be a very good chance that he/she
would be unfamilir with these 3 things [and more] that I use and would
be either ignorant of them or would try to persuade me to stop them.
For instance, many NDs do not believe in saturated fats like in
coconut oil, etc.
Thanks for asking.
Joe

they measuring? Blood levels? I still have a hard time getting my head
around body alkalinity that high!
strikes me that you have been taking your body from one extreme to
another - no wonder you are confused and it is confused! As an
observer (who does not know you personally) I would suggest that you
take a more moderate approach and try to manage being on one diet -
possibly er4yt to start. If you put so many conditions on your eating
youwill likely not be able to sustain the effort and will crash.

    Sarah,
I used to drink lots of fresh lemon juice in pure water in the AM
before exercising. Lemon juice is a great liver cleanser they say, but
with me it’s also very alkalinizing so I’ve temporarily stopped
lemon. It’s acidic to taste, but leaves an alkaline by product in the
    body they say.
