I used to drink lots of fresh lemon juice in pure water in the AM
before exercising. Lemon juice is a great liver cleanser they say, but
with me it's also very alkalinizing so I've temporarily stopped
lemon. It's acidic to taste, but leaves an alkaline by product in the
body they say.
