AAAAAXXEEEEEEEL - heeeeeeeeeeeelllllllpppppppp ..

Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

oh my God - I come home at half past 11 in the evening, want to check my
mailbox before going to bed - just for an instance - and there is your
huge, long, veeery long mail - brutally affecting my mind ——–
oooooooooooh, I want to go to bed - wow, how can you write such long
mails, dear ?!
hey : I really mean it when I write “love, Yvonne” at the end of my
mails - I really love people, and I love this group
well, I must admit that I was a bit scared when I first red your mail
with the information that you eat raw flesh -
on the other hand: in Europe we eat a dish called Tartar, it’s raw
flesh, grounded and spiced with herbs and Cognac (jummy) - actually I
loved it, but now, with the cowsdisease I didn’t dare to eat it anymore
I was a vegetarian for years, before ER (which I do for three years I
think) , but not because of my spirit - it was because I hated animals
to be killed for me - I love animals and I still hate that they get

Quinoa/cooking tip– Eat raw quinoa and live

Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

Axel - I like you very much, but :
to know that the spirit of what you eat has its importance (that’s how
all of the homeopathic remedies work !) is not funny at all - it’s sad
if you loose this connection, you could take much more from veggies if
you would consiously “eat” the spirit too

kidney stones

Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

hmm… I have a friend who’s a B and suffered from kidney stones last year.
Don’t think he takes calcium supplements, I’d be surprised if he did. You’d
think B’s, who are ‘allowed’ all the milk/cheese products wouldn’t have this
issue… Leslie

Encyclopedia Errata

This answers our questions about the yucca that Dr. D has for O’s and specific
lectins for O’s and B’s.

I receive several questions per week regarding three or four pages in the ER4YT
Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia. Most of these concerns were addressed on the
bulletin board in this past year ~~ but since the BB is no longer active, let me
review the following items:
1) Page 348 contains instructions which conflict with the type O food lists. The
second paragraph under the heading Group O-Specific Lectins should be ignored in
favor of the food list values.
2) Page 349 contains instructions which conflict with the type B food lists. The
paragraph under the heading Group B-Specific Lectins should be ignored in favor
of the food list values.

Anyone have an opinion about Herbalife products?

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Hi all! I’ve been vacationing (well sorta) in BC where I am from originally, so
I haven’t been very active here lately. However I am back and missed you all!
I’ve been trying to catch up on the posts and now I’m adding my own : )
I did the vitamin test with vinegar (I think someone here suggested it?) and
realized how bad they were! (still hadn’t dissolved after 12 hours - ick!) My
girlfriend is using Herbalife and swears by it (the products and the business
aspect). I was just wondering if any of you had an opinion about it?

Calcium Supplements

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

I heard a disturbing thing last week. My sister went to hospital to have her
bladder checked out. In the same room was a woman with kidney stones that got
admitted in a big hurry. The urologist asked her whether she was taking calcium
supplements, to which she said yes. He told her to stop it immediately, as this
is the main cause of kidney stones. Could this indeed be the case? What to do
now? How to we fight osteo if we don’t take dairy, and we can’t have calcium
supplements?

Guavas (previously Vit.C)

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Heeeee-Haaaaa! For once we down here have something that you battle to find!
What a reverse of rolls! Guavas are abundant in South Africa. Something new to
be thankful for!
Yes Ryan, we do eat them often. They have a strong flavour. When you walk into
the house, you can smell the guavas. They make a wonderful fruit salad with
bananas and pawpaw. Same ingredients - great smoothe!
Yum!
Hope you can find some over there!

Quinoa - Rose

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Thanks for the info Rose. The taste is not bad at all! I once steamed it in
the place of rice. Quite nice. If you cook it like you would oats porridge, it
really taste great with some honey and butter. I will most certainly use it now
and then.

Non-Dairy Milk?

Saturday, January 14th, 2006

<<However, a friend of mine has goats, and I will get fresh goat’s milk from
her during certain times of the year. It is wonderful to cook with, and
much easier to digest that cow’s milk.
Goat milk is an avoid for all O’s :-( If commercial rice milk is too sweet, consider making your own. Someone on
this list can give you a recipe - I know I’ve seen them here in the past.
