I do drown in sweat for six months (90 here yesterday) and get run off my
Island because of hurricanes and it’s still better than living in snow
country. Why is it all you folks that love snow never live in it? I will
say that Texas is very hot but give me that over a snow blizzard any day.
Try digging out your water well and then thawing the pipes with wet clothes
on and wet blue hands. Another special memory is helping people out of
ditches and digging snow out of their engines so they’re car will start. I
won’t go into the nights where the power goes off and you have to stomp
around the house to keep warm. LOL–snow was only beautiful and fun for me

because the roads were closed and we couldn’t go anywhere. May as well make
angels–LOL.
