acne

Hi,
I just joined the club.
I became interested in blood type diet in connection to acne problem.
Has anyone have any experience with it? I’m type O.

Give it two full months of no avoids and emphasizing beneficials. Get
back to us if it doesn’t go away. Acne can sometimes be a pernicious
problem. The diet almost always helps, but in some cases (adrenal
fatigue, toxic substance poisoning, hidden food allergies) more
    intervention is needed.

I was always told to stop eating candy and have more sex.

Im a 23 year old male suffering from mild to moderate acne. Has
anyone had acne and tried to block out certain foods and it helped
    clear their skin??
I have been beginning to follow the blood type diet. I have been low
carbing on and off for about a year and a half. Overall i have lost
about 30 pounds on that diet.
Im thinking of cutting out all sugar and dairy to help clear my skin.
Anyone out there have any thing that could help me out?
    thanks

This will be a highly individual thing, in my experience. What worked
for me didn’t work for O-neg nonsecretor siblings.
Anyhow, yeah, give up the sugar and the dairy as much as you can.
Don’t think that you can get away with two little cups of coffee and a
touch of cream and sugar. All three are not good for you.
Lots of folks will tell you to avoid fried foods. Maybe that was a
trigger for them, but not for me. Well, they weren’t good for me, but
didn’t make my acne noticeably worse.
We already have overactive immune systems, and the acne flareups are
part of it. Only the O’s in my large family had acne to any extent.
Be gentle with your skin even if it’s oily. That always made me want
to scrub it with steel wool! Yuck. But several plain water rinses are
better than any harsh treatment including astringents. As a male,
you probably don’t want to put anything that seems cosmetic on your
face. But you need to protect your skin from particles of pollution,

from a pH imbalance, and from weather exposure. If you can find a
suitable astringent use one once a day. The commercial ones are pore
    tightening, but not really drying.
Eat your green leafies and sweet potatoes if you can. You need Vitamin
    A. And probably E for healing.
