Dehydration

Mary Hilchie asked a question about water, forgive me if I have not been paying
close enough attention - lots going on at home this week.
But I seem to recall the original question was that she drinks plenty of water
and is still thirsty all the time.
If I have that right, Mary, I think you should be tested for diabetes. There
are various causes for adult-onset diabetes, and I don’t know your history, but
it is worth checking out. My husband was hit by a car this week (he’s OK!), the
driver was a 50-year old woman who had lapsed into a diabetic coma while
driving.
I don’t know much about diabetes, except that one of the symptoms is constant,
unexplainable thirst. Don’t mean to alarm you, but your water intake looked
sufficient to me. I didn’t have any advice for you till after this happened,
then I remembered that thirst can be a symptom. Maybe others on this list will
know more on this topic.
