new member - type O

Hello
I’m 23 years old and have been enlisted in the US Air Force for about
5 years now. In the past, I have been active in martial arts and
exercise in general. However, my life changed dramatically last
December. At that time I began to experience increasingly bad
digestive problems. After two months of hospitalization, my doctor
diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis. Thanks to Prednisone (which
has a list of side-effects two pages long) I’m currently symptom
free. Unfortunately, the Air Force will probably discharge me by
August, since this disease is not considered “cured” until surgeons
remove my colon.
Anyway, I have some goals. I would like to weigh at least 150 lbs…
I’m 130 right now, which is too skinny for my 5′8″. Heh, I weighed
108 in the hospital. I want to achieve this through weight lifting
and proper diet. How does a type-O eat enough calories without

eating too much carbs?
Also, I would like to eliminate my symptoms forever. I believe that
this diet can help me do this. Any tips for ulcerative colitis?
thanks
sean

Susan Kennedy, you are the “best cut of lambchop”.
And I like “beef heart” for it’s texture.
It’s not beef tongue or another other organ
    that I’ve ever encountered.

Glutamine (an amino acid) and DGL licorice will both help heal lesions
    in the colon.
