Friday, September 16th, 2005Thanks for all the dehydrator and jerky info. I really appreciate it.
I’m salivating thinking about making some. <smile
What is the address of the jerky list? I might check it out.

That message isn’t funny - if I had your number I would phone 911?

Anyone know what might help? Is high dose Vit C good for that? I’ve
been doing lots of damage around here in the past few hours. The
antihistamine I have is outdated. I took one but it didn’t stop my
symptoms.
I have no way of getting to a store. No friends, no car, no license.
I wish I were dead. My life sucks. They’re going to kill me. I’m not
afraid to die. I do more harm than good to people, and I’ll never
learn the difference, and I don’t really care either.

Let me first say that I exclude dairy ever since I detoxed on this diet years
ago. Every time I “experimented” and consumed a milk product, it was amazing
how bad I felt.
That being said, I must comment about the freak-cows. In my youth, I used to
hire out to dairy farms. Indentured servant comes to mind but it was good,
physical labor. Farmers only give up money at gunpoint. The only abuse I
ever saw with the dairy cattle was that they had to WALK to the pastures in
the morning and WALK back every evening. Bummer! We even would go out
sometimes and “talk” calmly to them in the late afternoon as we walked slowly

I’m 25 years old, 135 lbs, fit, medium-large build, pretty strong for
a girl, exercise heavily w/ cardio & weights 1-2x per day, 7 days per
week.
(3) years ago I lost 45 pounds on Jenny Craig and have been starving
and not attaining the physique (tone, firmness and stomach-fat loss)
I should with all my exercise and what I thought was a proper diet of

Hi gang…..I’m so happy to see such great postings in this group.
Subjects have gotten lots better since the “merger”.
Anyway, I’ve noticed that Herbs & Spices would enhance
the flavor of just plain foods which are H.B. or day-in, day-out
staples.
I’ve used “star anise”, lots of green onions & ginger,
sheep cheese (is that still a neutral????),
fresh lemon, red peppers, red onions….ETC.
lots of “condiments”…well, I consider the above fresh condiments.
It’s also great to have back-up for temptations:
for example,
my hunny had “Tombstone Pizza” for dinner, and I did feel deprived.
Yet, I asked myself, “do I really want to eat that”?
Answer, was “NO, but what”?
Decided on having neutrals (because that’s what I craved for),

Axel, you bring up some very excellent points. After years of buying
into the vegan low fat is better diet - I have been retraining myself
that fat is good. Fat is my friend! Most recently, I have been
cheating with wheat and coffee (off and on since Christmas). I will
have a week of compliance and then I fall off and I am bad for a
couple of weeks. I have been struggling with the reasons for this
and mostly they are related to stress. I have not gained back any of
the weight I initially lost but I have also not lost any more weight.
And, YES, Axel, I am still fat, at least I think so. I have never in
my life had a weight problem until shortly after I became a
vegetarian. Over the 8 years of vegetarianism I crept up 50 pounds
over my “normal” natural weight. I have lost 30 of those pounds and
I would really like to lose 20 more. At this point in time I am
happy with myself and if I never lose another pound it would be OK as
I feel fabulous (when I don’t eat the evil wheat). However I know

I placed my order for the new Non-secretor friendly O bars this
morning. They called and said they won’t arrive until March 11 and
that they hope to be able to fill my order that day. I ordered 24.
Anyone know anything more? I looked at the ingredients and saw
bittersweet chocolate, so I assume they are somewhat chocolate
flavored.
For perspective, I only see these as an occasional fun item to break
up all the meals of free-range beef and fish with broccoli and
greens J
