Spelt Tortilla/Ezekial tortilla

Sunday, September 25th, 2005

I’m just looking at the package of the Ezekial (Food f. Life) tortillas: 100 %
flourless, Ingr.:org.sprouted wheat, filtered water, org.unhulled sesame seeds,
org.sprouted soybeans, org, sprouted barley, org, sprouted millet, org.sprouted
lentils, org.sprouted spelt, sea salt.
So it lookes to me they have changed their formula, They used to have wheat
flour in them before. I don’t know, if the sesame seed are an avoid?

Right, I avoid any veggies that are high in carbs. I have to watch carbs
like a hawk. Since I quit smoking, it has been extremely hard to lose
weight. Thanks to Thomas’ advice, I’m actually eating a higher protein to
fat/carb ratio. Also, like Axel said, I have found that that one little
change in eating more protein has given me a great deal of energy. Carbs
slow me down, make me feel lousy.

Did any of you all switching from vegetarian diets experience
problems with elimination after starting to eat meat again? I had
some steak last week and it caused me some problems.

Less excessive Email 4 Joyce

Thursday, September 22nd, 2005

Hi Joyce,
I had this same problem.
There is a solution which I found at our group site…
Place our group site in your “Favorites” under a catagory.
Then go back to our group website.
There is a heading above that saids, “Edit My Membership”.
Go to “Message Delivery”, click “No email……”
I did this and it makes life easier, and I also use “Thread” for
subjects of interest.
Good luck, Gaye

Subject: HB “challenge” -stocking up on REAL FOOD

Thursday, September 22nd, 2005

excessive… it is tiring, going through so much mail. Can’t we just recognize
when we are writing a personal post and just be responsible and send it to that
one person?
Axel ,
I agree and also since there has been the ban on any OT subjects I went to
digest , well it is really amazing how long it takes to download a digest. If
everyone would cut and paste it would be much faster.
I am also wondering if there are others who miss the OT subjects ? If so please
e-mail me privately about starting a separate group where we could discuss our O
personalities , negativity or whatever O types would like to talk about. Or even
just a negative group-whatever.
I am interested in Joe’s cerebral allergy as I strange reactions at times and
know it is food related.
