Right, I avoid any veggies that are high in carbs. I have to watch carbs
like a hawk. Since I quit smoking, it has been extremely hard to lose
weight. Thanks to Thomas’ advice, I’m actually eating a higher protein to
fat/carb ratio. Also, like Axel said, I have found that that one little
change in eating more protein has given me a great deal of energy. Carbs
slow me down, make me feel lousy.

I dont believe I need carbs. I just wanted to make sure I was
cutting down enough and eventually cut out so I can be healthier.
I will get that book you suggested. I use to eat potatoes everynight,
potato chips and so on. But Iam learning a new way of eating and its
great for me. I did notice the more carbs the more tired I would get
after eating. The recipes are now what Iam looking for to make for
mtyself and family. Thanks Linda

Sorry for being a numnut I just realized I must be eating too much
carbs for this lifestyle. I would like to take in no more than 1500
calories a day. But I feel I must be taking in Carbs 200gr a day.
And thats just adding what I eat. Maybe thats throwing me off for
the foods I must eat. I read in another book that we should not take
in no more than 25 grams a day. That seems to me impossible since
just drinking pineapple juice instead of cola 30 grams. I know
pineapple juice is on our list. But, Im I going crazy or what, please
help. Linda. by the way Thomas @www.foodforyourblood.com could e-
mail me at az1home@… for the vitamins I would appreciate it.

Thanks Thomas I might get this thing down pat yet. You know the
reason I havent been getting this because being a junk food junkie
all of my life. I didnt watch what I eat and to what extent I was
shoveling food into my body. I probably was putting 1000 carbs more
or less a day into my body. Its very interesting to learn all this at
this time in my life. I refuse to say my age. But the thing is I
can learn and I will do better with time.

My grandmother is 80 years old, and she just started on the Type AB
diet. My sister is 14, and she’s been on the BTD for a year. The BTD
is for all ages. We do not discriminate.
