Hello! =)

Hello. I’m very glad to have found this place. I’m new to the ER4YT
thang. My sister and her hubby have been doing it for nearly a year
and they both swear by it enough that she actually recommended it to
me. They got tired of us putting off trying it and drove all the way
from West Virginia last month to prove it worked to us. LOL (I think
she just wanted to go to New Orleans for Mardis Gras and that was her
best way to pass through! HAHA j/k)
Anyhow, I have some very harsh medical problems and she knows that I
hate taking medicine (even aspirine is a big deal to me) but the past
few years I’ve been getting so bad that I nearly died from Nephratic
Syndrome (Kidney failure) a few times due to my diabetis and cronic
bladder infections…. ALL food related problems. My sister had
always come to me for medical type advise (because I studied
medicine) and it was disturbing to know that I couldn’t find a way to
fix myself this time. She tried many diets and never had anything to

tell me about until this time. Now she and her husband are so happy
and feel so good that they (even though they both have to AVOID some
of their favorite things - heh heh) that they don’t even consider
quitting.
In a way I’m here for both of us because she quite the PC Virgin and
I’m the old fart! I ended up here cuz I need help figuring out WHAT
to do with all the food I CAN eat! It’s a whole new adventure in the
kitchen, and even a treasure hunt at times. I live near the Mexican
border and if it doesn’t go in a taco or chorizo they are clueless!
AHHH! And I always joke about ME being the dumb blonde! HEH HEH
I hope to find this a nifty pantry and great place to hang whilst I
enjoy some of the recipes I found at ER4YT!!

That’s the land of all that tempting, wonderful food. Most of it is 100%
ER4YT as long as you’re not trying to lose weight. Try the ER4YT diet for 1
month staying 100% compliant and you’ll be shocked at how much better you
feel. Use lettuce leaves (Romaine) for taco shells and avoid the chips in
the salsa. I know it sucks but grains are a major no no. …and watch out
    for those windshields, Bug.

    Hello, Sarah! =)
Well, I’m in McAllen, Texas. (I can spit over the border from here!
It’s only 7 miles to Reynosa.)
As far as silly questions, LOL, I’m quite the airhead at times, you
might be surprised at what I ask! I’m still trying to remember how to
boil eggs! Water is EZ now!

Mad Maxx, huh? heh heh heh
And a very viking sence of humour, too.
Actually, I’m not prone to Mexican-food consumption. I get sorta
grossed out when I see the women around here cook. They tend to keep
a BIG (5 lb.) bucket (litterally) of MANTECA under the sink and use
    it LIBERALLY.
When I was 14 I met a guy who showed me the “truth about DO-NUTs”…
Ever since then I get serious barfies when I see anything besides
Olive oil (or anything “WOK-ish”) being added to food.
But the AVOID CORN and POTATOES is a killer! Actually, it’s the fact
that nearly everything I eat has “high fructose corn syrup” or some
kinda “corn starch” in it. Anything else takes a bigger budget than I
have for food. LOL I guess I have to start dining with my bunny!

    Well, HOWDY!
    I’m in Mcallen.
You’re an Austin-ite, huh? Nice city! I’m a fan of Russell Crowe and
his band, TOFOG (30-odd foot of grunts) so I made my trip to see
their concert last year. I stayed for nearly two weeks, fell in love
    with the place.
about it that he drove up one night just to see what I meant. LOL. If
we ever move (but stay in Texas) it will be there.
I guess I’m at a loss when it comes to tortillas. I never learned how
to make them so I never eat them unless I go to Donna to my mother-in-
laws house. She makes tortillas every morning. (I can’t stand store-
bught ones anymore!) Only thing is she uses MANTECA in them, so I
only eat one or two when I do eat them, once a week, maybe.
As for exercising, well, I’m a (former) amatuer boxer, body-builder,
and some other stuff, but the active word is FORMER. I have my own

gym but it gets more action from my kitties climbing around it than
me using it. I’m in need of a partner and a prayer more than
anything! HAHA (For inspiration, I ususally just try to picture Big
Russ showing me how he can do one-arm pull-ups and daring me to kick
his butt next time I see him! When that doesn’t work, well I have a
big poster of 4 hunks all sweating and pumped up…..thud….)
    I need a partner. LOL

I have no idea where either one of you are, but then I’ve only been
    to Bethany, OK.
I guess I’ll have to bust out my ATLAS again, huh? lol
    Thanks, Sarah!
