    unless they are our children .
    I need to add self-control and our animals to this.AND also to leave our
    children have “wings” when they are old enough to be on their own.

    OUCH what right do we have to control ANY human being be they our
    off-spring or not. Surely we are there to guide them not to control
    them ? Or am I misunderstamding your statement here ?

    oh - and even IF they are our children, we don’t have the right to
    control them -
    just to show them the possibilities without danger and let them choose
    themselves whenever possible
