yes Susan you are right about the MSG -
but I cook it myself and just don’t put any MSG in it ., so …
but it’s important to think about it , you are right

hi you guys! with all the rice and vegetables with which asian food
is prepared, i figure it must be possible to eat out at a restaurant
once in a while! i simply adore thai food, and miss eating at my
favorite restaurant because i’m afraid i’ll eat the wrong thing. i’m
very new to the diet, and definitely not the most successful of its
followers, but i hope someday to be more resilient and confident in
my eating decisions. looks like i need a little help, though.
anyone know of some common asian dishes i can enjoy?

I love Phad Thai (sp?). It has rice noodles, egg, chicken, but have
them leave off the crushed p-nuts. I think that’s the only real
avoid. Besides the goodies that might be in the sauces. <smile
to make sure they’re rice noodles; they should be. I also eat beef
broccoli, yesterday had beef pepper steak (redundant?) that was
pretty tasty. I don’t indulge very often, but I do like it. Just in
case, take a couple of Deflect before the meal.

I do too. It is great and there is also a sweet and sour shrimp dish that I
like also. It may have some avoids in it (I don’t know), but it sure is
good.
