Wendy’s Migraine

salad isn’t on their website. “Sesame seed dressing and rice noodles” seem to
me to be likely candidates for sneaking in some MSG, a sure-fire migraine cause.
If I were you, I’d stay away from “fast food” (ever read Fast Food Nation?). I
haven’t been there in over a year.Cheers,Mr. Research ;) Actually yes I am wondering why I got a 5 day migraine. The only thing new in my
diet was the salad. My husband bought one for lunch just do I could read the
ingredient list. It isn’t there! I wonder about the mandarin oranges. Plus there
were some things in the dressing I have never heard of.
I usually do stay away from fast food and this episode is something I won’t
forget - maybe ever! I never even heard of the book Fast Food Nation. Now I am
interested..
O I got my secretor status kit on Friday , but was to sick to send it in. Has
anyone had the results sent snail mail or can you copy the result from a web
page ? I don’t know where to look on a web page,,but then the way my head feels
it’s a wonder I can even think.

Thanks and Cheers ,
Joyce

    Susan ,
I looked up the symptoms of this and it is possible that I do have it. My TSH
level is always normal though. My eyes are quite large so every Dr. I have ever
seen has ran this test on me. When I lived in Eugene , OR my Dr. was an MD & a
Homeopathic - he had me on synthroid although the test was normal. he felt I
needed it. He had a machine I think he called a dermathron it was like a
computer he hooked me up to it and it gave a print out. Have you heard of
    anything like this ?
I usually have a migraine at least 2 times a week , but they only last several
hours. I read your other post concerning soy- I have been eating it several
    times daily.

uptake tested to see if you are converting T-3 to T-4. Are you taking any
supplement now? Once you are on thyroid medication, it is very difficult to go
off. Do you feel very tired all the time?
    Susan ,
I was only on it for several months , but when I went off of it I was a mess
emotionally. I didn’t know if it was from the synthroid , but I was unable to
sleep and a total wreck for almost a year! I think I never should have been on
it. The Dr. almost lost his license. His name is Gambee. The health department
of Oregon called me here in Pennsylvania , but I didn’t tell them anything that
would hurt him. I felt like it but was unsure if he had. My husband thought the
    medicine was responsible.
I’ll ask my Dr. to do the T-3 test and see what comes up. I am tired all the
    time.
