Losing commitment
I keep hearing cut out all grains, and limit the fruits (and nuts?)
if you want to lose weight. I must admit, I wanted the weight to come
off more quickly, but I’m more energetic and feel better. I need to
exercise more vigorously and regularly, and I know it will come off
more quickly.
I went from eating poultry 2-3 times a week to eating beef and eggs
almost daily, more fish and less poultry. I just started making
myself buy HB veggies I’ve never tried before (I take the O food list
booklet shopping with me). Just read the posts and try some new
stuff. I just made the lamb stew in the file. It’s pretty tasty. I
roasted a leg of lamb over the weekend. My first ever. It was YUMMY!
I especially loved the crispy ends. Mmmm… left it at my dad’s so he
can have left overs. I eat hard boiled, scrambled, or poached eggs
for breakfast almost daily. Left over pot roast for lunches. Broiled,
grilled or roasted meats for dinner. The occasional tuna & home made
mayo for dinner. On those little thin rye crackers we mentioned.
Anyway, experiment. Try new things. Good luck.

OK. I’ve heard about colloidal minerals for years. What are they,
exactly? Are they the liquid form? I take a multi-mineral, and I’m
sure it’s the “wrong” kind; just the basic tablet form. What brand do
you take? Where do you purchase it? How much?? So many questions, so
little time… <smile

Amy - do you know your secretor status? If you are a non-secretor, even the
small amount of grains and sugars in your diet will prevent weight loss and
optimum health.
