STOOL TALK/Axel
Even though you are right in what you write in your essay on stool,
and even though we are open minded, you see the great number of
responses…
Of course we can discuss anything that is interesting for most of us,
but this is one of the topics associated with some negative aspects…
(Hence traditionally stigmatized as taboo as you know.)
Whether I will ever meet you or not is not really a question,
I would need a really intimate relationship with somebody to discuss
it.
Well, keep on experimenting with those veggies, keep on inspecting
the result if you wish. There’s no harm in it. But please don’t
report unless it is something extraordinary…

Well, I would disagree. It’s a normal, regular (hopefully) function that
Social taboos have long imprisoned us - I grew up in ultra-conservative,
everyone on the planet does. My improvement is digestion, regularity and
stools is an important reason for my satisfaction with the diet
ultra-religious white South Africa were bodily functions were very taboo and
subjects of extreme shame (not to mention the horrific racism and other
prejudices, but alas, that’s another list altogether…)
I would hope this list would discuss stool, sweat, urine, ear wax and all
other secretions with equal openness. I don’t have an “intimate
relationship” with a doctor, but will discuss this stuff with him. I “know”
people on this list better than any doctor, so I encourage people to feel
free and safe to discuss any topic.
To me it’s just like any topic - if someone becomes inappropriate or
whatever, don’t join in or tell them you’re offended and move on.
Stool is discussed in both the books and www.dadamo.com, so no reason as it
can’t be discussed here.
My take is Axel is just trying to loosen up the list - list laxative you
might say =)
Which is a good thing in my book.

Flax seeds is a good topic. I added them as a salad sprinkle (teaspoon about
4-5 times a week) several months ago and have not really noticed much of a
change, but have not suffered from constipation anyway, so maybe they only
work noticeably if you are constipated…

I have a suggestion. If anyone posts something about stools, please
put the word “stool” in the subject. If you don’t want to read about
it, just delete the message. If you’re interested, read it.
Just a suggestion.

Sorry, Steve, you didn’t read my message with due attention.
I meant please no l’art pour l’art if possible.
E Long’s suggestion’s fine.
Thanks, Rose/Hun
