Parsnips, too

Oh yeah, I bought some parsnips, too. They look like white carrots!
Anyway, I read to put them with a roast or soup in the last hour of
cooking. Sound right? Will they also saute?
I took my new O Food List book with me shopping this week. Made
myself get out of the “same old food” rut. <sigh
