You're here! And just in time for the c-o-l-d weather (for us central
Texans, anyway). Only yesterday we had sunshine with the cold. I love
it!
What part of town are you in? "Up north" off of Burnet or N Lamar,
just south of Hwy 183, is an Oriental market, by a Chinese
restaurant. I've heard it's great. There is supposed to be another
smaller one north of 183 on Lamar, I think. South, there's a Korean?
store on Riverside, a few blocks east of IH 35.
Most of the HFS in Austin carry a variety of items. I've purchased
rice noodles at Sun Harvest Farms, and even at HEB (regular grocery).
There's a SHF north and south. Also Whole Foods, north and downtown.
Have a good time. E Long

you in Austin know of any oriental grocery stores? I thought while
I'm there I'd stock up on rice and see if they have any rice noodles.
