Changed Life

Wednesday, January 19th, 2005

I’m a newbie to ER4YT and this list. I just finished 5 weeks on ER4YT which
was recommended to me by Positive Changes Hypnosis Centers (which I joined
to lose 45 pounds about half of which I put on as a result of giving up
smoking).
In 5 weeks, I have lost 15 pounds which is amazing but the truly incredible
part is how much better I feel. I have more energy, IBS symptoms which had
become so bad that I feared that I would have to quit working if they became
worse, are about 75% better, and arthritis in my feet and knees is somewhat
better. My husband, as well as several people I work with have extremely
bad colds and two days ago, I woke up sneezing and with the sniffles.
Symptoms were gone in about two hours and haven’t returned.
I haven’t eaten red meat for about 6 or or 7 years since I was convinced
that it aggravated my IBS. I had a 4 oz. steak a few days ago with no ill
effects and have also tried roast beef recently. I was formerly a heavy
bread eater but getting rid of the wheat in my diet seems to have brought

MSM Experiences ?

Tuesday, January 18th, 2005

Hello,
I have started taking MSM for arthritis and it seems to be helping; as a
residual,
it also seems to regulate my bowel movements better (all my life I have
tended to be on the constipated side).
I am wondering what other people’s experience has been with MSM.
I tried doing a “SEARCH ARCHIVE” on this topic and typed in “MSM”
but got no results. Perhaps I didn’t do it right ? Any input here as well ?

food for road trips/hotels

Tuesday, January 18th, 2005

I’ve seen a few posts from people planning trips, and wondering how to handle
the food. I have some advice to offer, and I know some of it will sound
blasphemous, but, here it goes: I had to figure this out fast this year.
My mom died of breast cancer in May, she told us she was diagnosed in
February. For that time, I drove from my home in California to her home in
Nevada EVERY WEEKEND. Six hours up and six hours back. That’s two meals on
the road each way. I also stayed at hotels when in my Mom’s neck of the
woods, as I could see family members living there and caring for her did NOT
need a houseguest. Please be open minded about what I advise, I did not gain
any weight, I stayed in excellent health, and was able to return weekly to a
12/hour day work schedule, and I did even stayed emotionally stable, so this
not so bad for a short-term compromise:
1. When on the road, first pack lots of water. Travel is dehydrating, don’t
know why, just is. Bring TONS, and drink it constantly.
2. Bring lots of things to keep you busy in the car and in the hotel. Your

Hilda — Magnesium / Hernidisc Questions

Monday, January 17th, 2005

Hi Ann. That’s great news that you can get it over there. There are a
couple of benefits with the Muscleze:
- It has MANY other nutrients that help the muscle ease up.
- Magnesium will only be absorbed by the body if it is in an acid base. I
don’t know what the base of this product is totally but I do know that I put
it in grapefruit juice and it WORKS, where loads of tablets didn’t do a
thing.

Jacqueline

Exchange rate, duty, taxes… me thinks you are right! Wait until it comes out
here. Have you checked Chapters/Indigo? Sometimes you can pre-order through
them at a reduced rate.

HB challenge-Practical Tips

Monday, January 17th, 2005

Practical/Feasibly way is the “type of life”.
I am the common sense person.
For one,
Have a ton of highly beneficial foods around, esp. when those “avoid”
attacks come on, any time of day.
Make a list on fridge door of HB, Neutrals
for those snack attackes.

more to come, and please don’t hesitate to add your own suggestions

New Encyclopedia

Sunday, January 16th, 2005

Hi Thomas, I was just looking at the new NAP page - it is in “Ask Peter” today.
Will you be carrying the new encyclopedia and will you have it early too - or is
that only NAP. What will your price be and can you tell me about sending it to
Canada? Wondering how expensive the shipping will be? I would like to give you
the business if economically it makes sense. I assume it will be in the
bookstores before too long and that may be my best bet since I live in Canada.
Thanks Ann
