grapeseed oil

Hi everyone,
In my search for a mayonnaise I saw one yesterday with grapeseed oil. Does
anyone know anything about grapeseed oil? I know if it’s not in the lists
we are to consider it a neutral, but non-secretors have fewer neutrals than
secretors.
It’s so great to have so much collective wisdom available! I look forward
to seeing what you know.

Grapeseed oil is very high in Vitamin E, and doesn’t burn (decompose)until
450* - very good for cooking; but the BTD provides ample Vitamin E. It
becomes an avoid because it also contains too much Omega-6 - even more than
corn oil!. We don’t need it because we already have a disproportionate
amount of Omega-6 in our diet, compared to too little Omega-3. Olive oil is
low in Omega-6, and therefore contributes to adjusting the Omega-6/Omega-3
    imbalance.
BTW, I used to use grapeseed oil most of the time, especially in salads - I
    hated to give it up!

Anyone know how much chromium we should have in our diets?

    On what?
My ND recommended that I supplement with chromium for a few months
(due to diabetes running my family) but we ended our session before
getting into how much I should take daily.

I’m not eating much in the way eating avoids now, but have in
the past, which I suspect is the reason for the recommendation.
    That and the diabetes.
He said that I would need to supplement for a few months, to
build up my reserves; not long-term supplementation, though.
I have another appointment in a couple of weeks, but I didn’t
really want to wait. Additionally, I’m of the persuasion that
I prefer to be informed about the whats, wherefores & whys of
what I’m taking - instead of blindly following. Also, my
“one a day” vitamins include 120 mcg of chromium. I don’t want
to add a separate supplement if it’s not necessary.
