Information
Hi E. Long,
I just wanted to thank you for your information on the Farmers Market places in
Austin. I made notes and already have them in my suitcase of the places to get
the goat and sheep cheese. We can check them out in January.

I just remembered about Wheatsville Co-op near 31st St on Guadalupe
(just north of UT campus). I’m going to stop by this afternoon. Also
there’s Whole Foods, though I boycott them for personal reasons. Have
a great visit!

Hi E Long,
Is Wheatsville Co-op one of those stores you have to have a membership in?
Would they have Ezekiel bread as well as sheep and/or goat cheese? I’m
thinking we could buy it on the way in to my son’s house, since we would be
using I-35 to go there. Then my daughter and I would have the right bread
and cheese when we have sandwiches.

You get a 7% discount if you are a member; non-members pay “sticker”
price. It’s competitive pricing with the other HFS in the area. I
have seen frozen Ezekial bread in both Sun Harvest Farms stores in
Austin (north by Northcross Mall and south in Brodie Oaks Shopping
Center). I haven’t checked for goat cheese. I find that if I eat any
cheese, I just want more. Isn’t that what Lowell/Ann was talking
about? <smile
