Protein Shakes

Hello group - this is my first post - I mean first! I’ve never been
on a message board before so please put up with me till I get the
hang of things. My question: Has anyone heard of Body Genetics
Protein Shakes? They’re supposed to be blood-type friendly and soy
based. I’m just wondering if they’re ok or if anyone has any
experience with them.

    Hello Patt!
Since you’re new you may not know your secretor status, but soy is an avoid
    for non-secretors.
    Welcome from Dianne in L.A,

Thanks Dianne - I did recently get my results and am a secretor - whew!
Except for the fact that non-secretors are allowed avocados and I’m not, I
think being a secretor will be a little easier? Don’t know if that’s
correct or not….have been watching the postings and in view of recent
discussions, I’m glad I joined this group. Have been on the diet strictly
for a week. Before that - easing into it.

Hi Thomas - I think the web site I came across is bodyredesigning.com. Have
you heard of it? I thought soy was neutral for O secretors?

Dr D has protein shakes in the making which will be secretor friendly, same as
food bars will be secretor friendly. They are
in the final stages now and should be ready next month. Right now don’t know
    price or ingredients…..

What I meant was good for both secretor and non-secretor - friendly for all.
Kind of like a ‘generic’ term, since secretor
status is what is needed to know today to be in tune with Live Right book.

Having been on vacation last week, I have a different appreciation for this way
of eating when away from home. I thought it
would be easier than it was. It was virtually impossible!!! Primarily because
I was staying with family. It would have been
slightly different for me if I had more control, but not much. It’s difficult
to find O compliant foods on menus or have them
prepared they way you’d like them. It’s easy to not eat bread or pasta or to
order beef and vegetables, but add in the
complexity of eating with others and it’s darn near impossible. For example, my
cousin invited me over for dinner on Saturday
evening. The menu? Pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn and white bread. It’s
good to be home and in control of my diet again!
For me rice protein doesn’t work because of tinnitus. I can’t wait for an egg
protein shake!! The best of all worlds.

Thomas you mentioned the Nutribiotics rice protein. Is there an online
    location for them?
